Whoops

Last night I decided to introduce blended fruit into my system and I wasn't thinking about the sugar. I blended a frozen banana, a little mango, coconut water, raw cacao powder, and agave nectar in a blender. It made me sicker than shit! The amount of sugar without the fats to help it burn slower and remove the toxins made me feel like I was kinda poisoned. But in some respect I'm glad it happened, it shows you guys (and me) not to fuck around when your coming off a fast, and not to do this unless you thought it through! Plan out your day of juicing and how your gonna ween off. Sugar is highly poisonous, and it doesn't matter if its refined or natural. It ferments inside your stomach, and all that acidic waste has to go somewhere. If your a smoker, remember that first cigarette and how sick it made you feel? This is whats happened to our bodies with sugar and bad processed food. We've grown a tolerance for it, and can keep jamming it in to our system without really thinking about it. When a person smokes now, same thing happens. A tolerance has been built. Our daily routine is usually cereal with sugar, white toast with chemically treated animal fat and salt, a glass of pasteurized orange juice thats loaded with unnatural amounts of sugar, then followed by pizza, power bars, energy drinks, sodas, candy, meats and milk, fried starch, etc. etc. If you gave a snickers bar or something like French fries to someone who is native to only eating organic and grew up on natural foods: if it wouldn't kill them, it would probably make them very very sick.
We need to get our bodies back to the way they are supposed to be. So today, I juiced celery, cucumber, spinach and blended that with an avocado. I'm going on a green juice fast only the next few days, to help my body begin its foundation off the fasting. So for lunch on going to have a shot of wheatgrass. Dinner: Liquid avocado and cucumber. Woo!

Day 4

Once again, I still feel good. I went to sleep around 12:15 and woke up at 3:45. Not needing much sleep since my body isn't putting out any energy. I meditated last night and this morning, and noticed my breath could almost stop moving for several minutes without me needing the air. My body has clearly slowed down tremendously when I want it to. I feel great mentally. My skin looks better than it ever has! I feel I look better and healthier than before, I actually feel more aware and awake than usual. There isn't anything reminiscent of morning breath when I woke up, which is caused by the mild detoxing that happens when you sleep. The only thing I do feel from the effects of this are my muscles are starting to feel weak. Have you ever worked out really hard, and then afterwards, noticed how all your muscles kinda burn and are tired? Thats the feeling I'm getting. My legs are a little heavy, and my arms are warm. Acidic buildup? I doubt it, since I would be feeling more of the effect than just in those locations, like mentally. But it could be. Plus, my stomach kinda disappeared. It looks a little like Christian Bales in The Machinist.
I'm going to introduce young thai coconut water to my system to give myself the electrolytes I need. Coconut water has the same molecular structure of your blood, and can literally be introduced in a blood transfusion. Coconut water can save your life. I'm about to go get a massage at The Massage Place to help work out any leftover acid in my body, and will reintroduce juicing as time moves ahead. More to come!

Day 3

I have a fridge full of food, so i decided to make falafel and cookies (dehydrating process) so it doesn't go bad. I was able to make all this food without tasting it, and let the aroma fill the house from the dehydrator. I had Bob taste my food and had him try to explain what it tastes like, since I had no clue!
Day three and 4 are supposed to be the worst, but i feel fine. My liquid and whole food diet has really given me the chance to detox. A healthy human body is supposed to have a bowel movement 15 minutes after every meal, and once I stopped eating meat and dairy, and almost eliminated my cooked foods, this is what was happening to me. So, on day 3-4, the toxins in your body really become loose and start to float throughout your bloodstream freely. Still feeling good tells me there aren't allot of toxicity, which means i have to watch myself very carefully as not to allow my body to begin its protein breakdown. That would cause deprivation to my muscles and organs. The order your body breaks down are undigested proteins, then sugars, then glucose in the cellular structure, then fats, then final protein breakdowns. Im 150 lbs right now so this isn't a game. The beautiful part is, my blood will be really clean and i will have a really good foundation to build back upon. Many people seem "fit" but actually are really unhealthy. Thats why some athletes can just have a heart attack and die. Then people say, ohh, she just had a bad heart. But the truth is, there is a much bigger level of toxicity attacking her heart. When people say things like well it runs in our genes, the truth is, is can be stopped by alkalizing. The toxins go to the weak spot. My brother was on a 7 day juice cleans during Tony Robbins "Life Mastery" and the strongest healthiest guy was having the hardest time there. His red blood cells were all clumped together and full of acidic crystals. There is a difference between being "fit" and being healthy.
Lance Armstrong went on a fast after he found he had cancer, then trained for 6 weeks afterwards just running. His heart now beats less than 25 beats per minute when he sleeps, and could probably run up a mountain without raising his heart rate above your daily average.

Anyway, I had UDO's oil shot this morning, followed by my regular liquid herbal cleansers, etc. Lots of beautiful meditation, and continued to work today at home. Had a 2 oz. shot of organic wheat grass. Watched a movie.
I may end this thing sooner than i thought, I can't cross the line of when to end a fast. I am also deciding to cancel the little documentary I've been shooting, since there isn't much to tell. I wanted to create something that can really inform and inspire people that the body doesn't need food to live, and we can completely change our life, not to mention the education of the whys and hows. I am concerned though, of copy cats who don't understand the risks and reasons to this. I received a myspace email today from some kid across country, who wrote me this:

"I've been fasting for a few days now. No reason in particular.

What's going on with you?"

This is great concern. We need to listen to our bodies. Granted, most of us cant establish this deep of a connection to ourself and the food we eat since were all so sick. I can literally follow what I eat through my body by conscious awareness, not to mention the relationship I have with the food I'm growing, smelling and listening to. Sound cheesy? well I'm very regular and healthy. There is so much more energy in my body that i never get drained, i need very little sleep, and now can do more with my life. And I have a real relationship with myself.

I'm working on a treatment for a much bigger project that will involve fasting, but it will also involve a string of professionals in the health field, and a control group of people who have different emotional and health problems. We will put them on a specific whole food, educational, and spiritual crash course that will radically change their lives. If I'm going to put out anything to the public, it has to be fulfilling in all areas as to avoid damage to others through ignorance. So DON"T TRY THIS AT HOME! If you want to, learn about it and you can talk to me. (And don't fuck with the master cleanse, its bullshit. Its all sugar.)

Day 2 rocks

Today has been amazing. I started with a shot of UDO's oil, then showed up late for my colonic. It didn't matter though, the therapist there was super nice and informative. I told her I was vegan and raw, and she said I probably didn't have anything really built up inside. It turns out she was right, and my past month of raw foods and liquid drinks have been really cleansing. Not so much as the food is cleansing, but your body finally gets the chance to eliminate the toxins we've been consuming, and gets a chance to switch gears when we put a stop to the contamination.
She then preceded to tell me about someone close to her who has been through over 12 years of bladder pain, which after going through almost a hundred doctors and universities, she was informed that she had a rare disease of the bladder that is just something science doesn't really understand. There is just pain in there, and the way to stop it is to remove the bladder and carry around a bag. Later, she found a energy worker and chiropractic who within five minutes, found out what her problem is. Her adrenal glands were drained from emotional trauma in her past, which causes kidney toxicity, that unloads into her bladder. There was no infection, and this is why the doctors couldn't explain her problem. Her bladder was fine! But this man pinpointed her problem in five minutes. How? He uses a technique that hes done for over 30 years called muscle testing. He can find problems but pushing on certain muscles and asking questions and using specific words that have emotional connection to her. The body changes when certain emotions are being felt, and when someone goes through something traumatic, it gets ingrained in our subconscious. Our subconscious then tries to protect us from being hurt again, but it controls our body. So on this subconscious level, our past trauma affects our current health problems, and we have no idea its going on. 40% of people who were getting cured by this method were coming back later on. Why? Because they didn't believe they were cured. They consciously believed it, but not subconsciously. So, he learned how to cure THAT. Its pretty amazing stuff. So after hours of talking about this, I left and went to the park. That when i ran into a girl there that I met there once before. She begins to tell me about how she was a model, and her life is ruined because she was in a car wreck that caused all these problems, including "stress fatigue syndrome" (which I have learned is total bullshit), auto-immune disorder, bloating, doctor malpractice, new allergies, skin bruising, pain in the whole body, depression, etc. etc. I felt that her problems were definetally emotionally based, and then she tells me about her past trauma with family and other issues. I spent over 3 hours with her walking on the track, a distance over 5 miles, and totally immersed in conversation. I haven't eaten in 2 days and my energy is still through the roof! I feel light, agile, and utterly happy. She left feeling great and smiling, and she is going to call this amazing person I've discovered tomorrow and set up an appointment.
Hopefully day 3 and 4 are as good, because I've learned that those are the absolute worst.

Who needs food?

Nightime day one

I made a tea out of ginger, lemon, redroot formula and habanero peppers. Warm this mixture to make a concentrate that can be strained and mixed at a 1:3 ratio with alkaline water throughout the day. Spicy and gross! But I can feel my blood moving fast when I drink it. The body is very toxic, especially if its not used to a healthy lifestyle. When you fast, your body begins to attack unprocessed proteins in the digestive system first, then it turns to the sugar in the system. When thats depleted, it turns to glycogen in the tissue cells as a fuel source. Then the body starts to burn excess fat. This is final stage before protein breakdown. Never fast for weight loss, you will cause great harm to your body, not to mention, it will be painful and toxic.

When you fast, the blood and lymph become thinner, allowing for toxic waste to be eliminated by the blood and lymph faster. For someone who is highly toxic (over 95% of America) the toxins enter the blood stream rapidly and can cause a pH imbalance in the body, not to mention allot of discomfort and pain. My tea speeds up the circulatory system and helps alleviate this problem.

I must say, I feel absolutely great. The times when my mind got cloudy, or I felt hungry, I can shift my focus, and the problem goes away. Its amazing how we think we need food, and its becoming more apparent to me that its a bigger emotional addiction than nutritional.

Day 1 of 10 day fast

3:43 pm
02/04/2008

I woke up today at 10:00am, completely oversleeping. I stayed out later than usual watching an amazing movie called The Peaceful Warrior, and ended up going to bed around 2:00am. Since becoming a vegan and raw food-ist, my sleep schedule has been typically going to bed around 12:00 and waking up around 4:00-7:00am. My body is proving to need less sleep now that its not working overtime on processing fake dead food and animal products anymore.

Today started with my daily shot of UDO's oil, followed by tons and tons of water spread throughout the day, each bottle programmed differently. some with a slice of lemon for detoxing, some with Innerlight brand supergreens (the best), some with herbal formulas for lymph like red root, echinacea, burdock root, and some for liver/kidney cleansing like milk thistle and dandelion herbal complexes. I also have been taking spirulina and MSM tablets.

My day so far has been just light waves of hunger and headaches, nothing i cant handle. As of right now, I actually feel better than I have all day, no sign of headache or hunger wave. I just feel very light and healthy! I made a few calls and scheduled in a hydro-colonic for tomorrow morning. I discovered a place nearby that besides colonics, they have sensory deprivation tanks (you may have seen in my first documentary, Kyle Cease: Comedy 101) which I am thinking maybe I need to give a second chance. I will let you all know how that goes.

I am going to continue my work today (hopefully last day of working, you cant work and fast at the same time, you can really hurt your body) and will post more as things happen...
